Hello Everyone!

I’m thrilled to introduce myself as the newest member of the Outside The Box Recruitment team, stepping into the role of Resourcer with a passion for both Luxury Fashion and connecting with remarkable individuals.

Fashion has always been more than just a career choice for me; it’s a passion that’s woven into my everyday life. From an early age, I was captivated by the artistry, innovation, and elegance that define the world of high fashion. This fascination has only deepened as I’ve grown, leading me to pursue a career where I can immerse myself in this glamorous industry.

I began my professional journey in Haute Couture, working for a prestigious fashion house renowned for its exquisite craftsmanship and cutting-edge designs. This experience was nothing short of transformative, it taught me organisation, anticipation, excellent customer service and how to meet deadlines.  For a couple of years, I had the privilege of working in this house gaining firsthand insight into the processes and creativity that define Haute Couture. This role allowed me to develop a deep appreciation for the artistry and dedication that underpin the luxury fashion sector.

However, as much as I loved the world of Haute Couture, I recognised the importance of completing my formal education to equip myself for a long-term career in fashion fully. Balancing work and studies was a challenging but rewarding experience, and it provided me with a solid foundation in both knowledge and practical skills.

At Outside The Box Recruitment, I am eager to blend my enthusiasm for fashion with my dedication to uncovering exceptional talent. My journey here as an Intern and Resourcer is driven by a commitment to understanding the unique needs of luxury fashion brands and matching them with the perfect candidates who will not only meet but exceed their expectations.

One of the most exciting aspects of this role is the opportunity to engage with diverse personalities. I’m passionate about people—learning their stories, understanding their aspirations, and helping them find their place in a sector that thrives on creativity and innovation.

Moreover, the chance to learn from an industry expert like Charmain Gyles-Ferguson is incredibly inspiring. Her extensive experience and unique perspective promise to be invaluable as I develop my skills and insights in luxury fashion recruitment.
