LUXURY FASHION STORE DIRECTOR for a highly regarded global luxury LADIES & MENSWEAR designer brand.

The two-floor stunning boutique has an outstanding reputation in the industry to uphold. It sells exquisitely designed ladies’ and men’s wear, MTM, Leathergoods, Accessories, Shoes, Fragrance, and beauty, and it has its own on-site tailors.

Our client is a global luxury designer brand whose designs are revered by competitors and their UHNW clients, including celebrities, royal families, and dignitaries. It is a great time to join this expanding brand with a strong creative direction and investment in the future.

As the Store Director, you must achieve an enhanced level of clienteling, service, and sales in line with the store’s ambitions and ensure that every client has an exceptional and unique experience by providing the highest standards of service. A commercial, strategic, and people-development-driven manager is crucial.

The role:

  • Reporting to the Global Retail Director and responsible for an Assistant Store Director, Ops Manager, 3 tailors, 5 back of house, and 15 Senior/Sales Consultants.
  • A prominent figure on the sales floor, leading the team with a collaborative approach
  • Representing the Brand inside and outside the store. Attending network events to foster new business/client relationships
  • Attending international fashion shows
  • Attending business and buying trips to Paris and Milan when required
  • Creating a planning strategy for sales and team development to ensure the store continues success.
  • Providing constant feedback and solving any difficult scenarios as and when they arise
  • Motivate and inspire the team to deliver the ultimate service experience
  • Coach and develop the team to ensure and maintain the shopfloor to a luxury standard, anticipate clients’ specific needs by driving and shaping the hospitality journey
  • Being able to drive business priorities (achieving monthly and yearly turnover and quality KPI targets set by the brand), embodying a culture of consistent clienteling and exceptional service
  • Have a thorough understanding of all operational procedures and systems, ensuring the store operations are perfectly followed to enable the team to perform at their best on the shop floor.
  • Feedback to head office, stakeholders, and global retail management team on store performance in terms of sales, merchandising and action plans to elevate the client experience
  • Ensuring the quality of the data collected
  • Making sure the team is following up on potential and existing clients

Ideal Candidate:

  • 5 years experience as a high-end Luxury Fashion Store Director / Manager
  • A leader who leads from the front – able to lead and excel when under pressure
  • Must have gravitas, and confidence, a great ambassador for the store, with great communication skills for all levels of personnel
  • Client-centric whilst driving sales
  • A creative thinker able to ‘think outside the box’ to drive commercial ideas and solutions
  • Evidence of commercial management – knowing and able to analyse KPI results and make decisive action plans for the business and team performance.
  • Very organised ensuring all operations and areas of the back of the house run smoothly
  • Adaptability, fearless curiosity, being able to flex into different areas where required and embracing new challenges
  • Security conscious minimising stock loss at all times
  • A calm and confident approach, with a strong sense of responsibility
  • Super organized and efficient
  • Must naturally have an eye and attention to detail with store and team presentation
  • A passion for managing, developing, and coaching teams to success
  • Knowledge or experience in selling luxury men’s MTM is desirable but not essential
  • Must be well-groomed and styled to represent the brand.

 

Additional to the basic salary is :

£10K Clothing allowance, medical cover, contributory pension, Bonus
