We focus on the luxury and premium sectors of Fashion, Retail, Lifestyle, Fine Jewellery and Beauty. With over two decades of expertise in these sectors, we can be your expert partner in identifying the ideal candidate or next career move.

For many years we have listened to our clients and candidates who have wanted a more “personal” “specialised” and “knowledgeable” recruitment service. A consultancy that would listen and cater to their needs – thus Outside The Box Recruitment was created with this vision in mind. We are proud to be a boutique and intimate Fashion/Retail Consultancy.

At OTB our philosophy is simply to build lasting long-term personal relationships, as we are a service centric company. Our approach is to work in partnership with our clients and candidates – developing, designing and delivering realistic and honest recruitment solutions.

The business currently specialise in three distinct areas ranging from: Senior Appointment & Executive Search to Junior Appointments.

Today OTB operates from London. We offer a bespoke boutique service for our clients and our candidates, discretion and professionalism are the foundation of our brand. Our network of Clients and Candidates are diverse and have varying levels of expertise and experience.

I have been in recruitment for over 25 years specialising and focusing on luxury fashion and lifestyle. Prior to working in recruitment, I progressed to a fashion area manager and regional training and development manager, this allowed me to acquire a very broad skillset with building relationships and understanding the roles of all my stakeholders (Retail Operations, HR, Marketing, Buying & Merchandising, Wholesale,…) to successfully managing a ten million pound business.

As MD of OTB, I am in the privileged position to have developed strong relationships with my clients and candidates, and over the past years some of those candidates are now not only my clients but have become friends. These relationships are stood the test of time through, my industry knowledge but more importantly trust, honesty and integrity.

What truly fulfils me in my role is witnessing the joy I bring to our candidates when I inform them, they have been offered the role/job they have been hoping for. I also find immense satisfaction in advising and guiding our clients and candidates to ensure success.

Growing up in Venezuela and Spain, traveling across the globe, and now settling in the UK, has allowed me to interact, respect and communicate with many different people and cultures.

My previous experience working on the shop floor as a manager for different organizations has led me to my passion for recruitment! Listening and helping my candidates to realise their career dreams and my clients to secure the best talents for their organisations.

With over 8 years of experience of recruiting nationally and internationally for the luxury fashion & lifestyle sectors, I have developed a highly personalised, bespoke approach, that puts me in a unique position when fulfilling my clients and candidates’ needs ensuring a service that truly delivers a made-to-measure result. During this time, I have had the privilege to collaborate with some of the most iconic and remarkable organizations and that have made me feel like an extension of their teams, enabling me to build strong and reliable relationships within their business.
