I have been in recruitment for over 25 years specialising and focusing on luxury fashion and lifestyle. Prior to working in recruitment, I progressed to a fashion area manager and regional training and development manager, this allowed me to acquire a very broad skillset with building relationships and understanding the roles of all my stakeholders (Retail Operations, HR, Marketing, Buying & Merchandising, Wholesale,…) to successfully managing a ten million pound business.

As MD of OTB, I am in the privileged position to have developed strong relationships with my clients and candidates, and over the past years some of those candidates are now not only my clients but have become friends. These relationships are stood the test of time through, my industry knowledge but more importantly trust, honesty and integrity.

My role as a Luxury fashion /lifestyle recruitment Resourcer, is to provide the best personal consultative service for those seeking new opportunities. This entails firstly understanding the needs of our long-established network of clients and be confident in knowing exactly what our clients are looking for in a candidate. Using this information as reference, my next step will be to identify the strengths and transferable skills of our candidates to find the perfect match for both parties.

With over 5+ years of experience in the luxury retail sector, I have had the opportunity to understand the industry through the lens of various roles ranging from junior roles to senior roles. This has enabled me the confidence to effectively identify and communicate the responsibilities that comes with each role which is imperative for finding the right candidates. My background in communications bridges the gap between finding the right candidate and relaying their strengths to our clients all whilst assisting the candidate with an elevated way of selling themselves to the client.

The role of a recruitment resourcer will help me to grow both individually and as a profession as my daily responsibilities will build my confidence in communication and expand my network to becoming someone that clients and candidates can rely on.
